Love

I want a love that never ceases. One that makes me wanna wake up early and sort your clothes just to iron out all the creases. A love that makes me wanna rush home after a long day just so that I can wait on your arrival. A love that’s almost primal. I want a love that makes me wanna greet you at the door and constantly sweep the floors that you walk on. A love that helps me fall asleep at night just so that I can wake up next to you. A love that is refreshing and always seems brand new.

I want a love that makes me think of you when I’m hungry. One that forces me to wanna share my food with you. A love that makes me go to chubby’s and toss my wings in two different sauces just in case you want some cause I know we have different tastes. I want a love that puts our breaths in sync. One that aligns our heartbeats. One that really makes two become one. I want the love they speak about in the Bible. A first Corinthians Chapter 13 love. One that God himself sent me from up above. I want a love that makes me fall in love with love. But most importantly I want a love that’s captivating, never circumstantial. I guess what I’m trying to say is I want the love you’ve always given me.
