All Mine

Wildly Enough, I am the most at peace than I have ever been. The most calm, the most level headed. The most complete and that for me is an amazing discovery. I say this because although my life is still very much in shambles, the people in it have a way of making me see past that. And before y’all even say it, it’s not that I can’t complete myself or create my own happiness, it’s just that he is now an extension of that. The way I love him is something that stems from the way I now love myself. Not the other way around.

I am so comfortable in his space that I feel as if nothing can’t take this moment from me and in the wise words of Nicki Minaj "in this moment I just feel so alive." I truly have found a home in you. In us. In the bond we’re creating. In the memes we share over DMs. In the way that Justin Laboy be reading us on Instagram. I don’t even care if it’s temporary because at least I know I got to experience your love in its purest form. The way that God created it to be.

And even then I pray you’ll never forget me, or even worse regret me. It’s only you for me and while it took me a long time to see that, it’s better late than never.
